We4Romagna
What is "We4Romagna"?
"We4Romagna" is an initiative of the Music Club Egna that aims to organise a varied series of small and
large events to raise funds for the benefit of the people of Romagna who were badly hit by the terrible
flooding last May.
Who do we want to help?
Thanks to a friend of the music society, Daniela Sangiorgi Geier, who is originally from this area and
who is a strong supporter of reconstruction, we have set concrete goals.
The recipients of the money raised are:

"Associazione culturale Artistation" (artistation.it).
Artistation is a non-profit association that operates mainly as a music school in Faenza (RA).
Its premises were completely inundated by water during the floods of 3 May and are closed and
unusable due to significant damage to the structure and equipment.
The association is now looking for funds so that everything can be restored as quickly as possible.
The association is now looking for donations so that classes can resume for all students as soon as
possible.
Half of the money raised by "We4Romagna" will be used to support "Riapriamo la scuola di musica
Artistation Faenza".

Modigliana (FC) is a small town southwest of Forlì that was badly hit by the flood. The municipality
of Proloco has set up an account to raise funds for reconstruction.
The other half of the funds collected through "We4Romagna" will be paid into this account (also
applies to direct donations):

What will we do?

We will advertise and spread the word about these two different contributions at all the events the
Music Club Egna will be attending in the coming months.

The donations collected at the big September concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Music
Club Egna (Saturday, 9 September, Klösterle in Egna) will go in full and in equal parts to the two
organisations mentioned above.
